Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President of Telangana unit, demanded a sedition case against Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
On the 1st of February, Tuesday, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticised KCR’s demand of rewriting the Constitution of India. In his request, the Telangana Unit BJP President said the remark was a disrespect to Mr. B.R. Ambedkar, who drafted the committee of the Constitution and the Constitution of India.
Notably, on Tuesday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, “India needs to rewrite its Constitution to fulfil people’s expectations and to ensure that the country progresses to its full potential.”
Taking a jibe at the Telangana Chief Minister Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “(The) TRS Government has neglected the health and other sectors with the pandemic showing that it has ‘favoured’ corporate hospitals over basic primary public healthcare. TS CM himself had earlier praised the ‘Gujarat model’ and also the farm laws but has been singing a different tune indicating his “forked tongue attitude” Mocking the attempts of KCR to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the budget issue, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “I am ready to get him Mr. Modi’s appointment even now if he is interested.”
Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar also said, the repeated attempts and remarks against the Union Government, Mr. Narendra Modi, and the Union Finance Minister Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman is nothing but a result of the failure of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.
