The Telangana Education Department announced an improvement examination for inter first year students. The students who have appeared in inter first year exams in October (2021) could now retake the exam and improve their marks.
A senior official of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) who wished to be anonymous said, “The students who fail in the first year and those who want to improve their marks can appear in the examination in April.”
The TSBIE is planning to conduct the improvement exams between the 23rd of March to 12th of April, 2022. The final decision and schedule for the improvement exams would be taken after the nod of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.
The Inter first year exams for academic session 2021-2022 were conducted in October. Initially, the exams were scheduled to be held in April 2021, but postponed in the wake of the second wave of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
Meanwhile, the results of the inter first year exams would be released in the end of November or first week of December. A final date for the release of the intermediate first results is yet to be announced.
