On the 16th of March, Wednesday, the Telangana State Board of Secondary Education (TSBSE) announced the revised schedule of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams for the 2022 academic year.
The decision was taken to avoid clash with the National Test Agency (NTA) released revised schedule of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2022 examinations. It is to be noted, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the schedule of the first phase of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022–23 to April 21. A notification to this effect was issued on the 14th of March, Monday.
According to the latest schedule, the JEE Mains exams would be computer based on the 21st of April, the 24th of April, the 25th of April, the 29th of April, the 1st of May 1 and the 4th of May.
According to sources, the TSBSE rescheduled the SSC exams from the 23rd of May to the 1st of June. The timings would be from 9:30 A.M., till 12:45 P.M. In addition, this year the students registered for the SSC examinations, have been given a chance to answer only 50% of questions, amid the pandemic Wuhan virus situation.
Besides the SSC examination, the Telangana Education Department also announced the new dates for the intermediate (11th and 12th) exams in the State. According to the schedule, the intermediate exams would be held from the 6th of May to the 24th of May.
