The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) which is expanding its footprint in other Indian states, finally appointed functionaries in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

On the 1st of March, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Telangana Chief Minister and the BRS President approved the functionaries appointment.

On Wednesday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao appointed Mr. Himanshu Tiwari from Jaunpur as the Party General Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh unit.  In Maharashtra, Mr.  Manik Kadam has been appointed as the Head of the BRS Kisan Cell President.  Now, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao now appointed the BRS party divisional coordinators in Maharashtra.  The coordinators appointed are Mr. Dasaratha Sawanth for the Nashik division, Mr. Balasaheb Jairam Deshmukh for the Pune division, Mr. Vijay Tanaji Mohite for the Mumbai division, Mr. Somnath Thorat for the Aurangabad division, Mr. Dyanesh Wakudkar for Nagpur division and Mr. Nikhil Deshmukh for the Amaravati division.

Launched on the 5th of October 2022, the BRS formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is expanding as a national party in different states.  The K. Chandrashekar Rao led BRS decided to expand as a national party, to fight against Mr. Narendra Modi led the Bharatiya Janata Party. 

The major agenda and highlight of the BRS is to help farmers of India and form a government benefiting farmers of the states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

Furthermore, the K. Chandrashekar Rao led BRS is also expected to elect in the 2024 General election, against the ruling BJP Government.  In addition, the BRS is also gearing up for the upcoming 2023 Telangana State Assembly elections.
