The Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, on the 24th of April, enquired about the health condition of the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Nagri constituency R.K. Roja.
Recently, MLA Roja underwent a surgery for her health issues. Ms. Roja was supposed to have a surgery last year, but due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, it was postponed.
She underwent two major surgeries at Fortis Malar Hospital in Chennai. She was discharged from the hospital on the 4th of April 2021 and is in stable condition at her residence. She has been advised bed rest for 7 weeks.
Hearing about MLA Roja’s health condition and recent surgery, KCR telephoned her and wished her a speedy recovery. The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Chairperson expressed happiness after receiving a call from KCR himself.
Besides KCR, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) also made a phone call to MLA Roja and comforted her.
