Telangana CM KCR Inaugurates Rythu Vedika At Jangaon District

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 31st of October, launched Rythu Vedika. 

Mr. Rao visited Kodakandla village of Jangaon district and inaugurated Rythu Vedika for the farmers.

The Rythu Vedika is an initiative taken by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government for farmers. The Rythu Vedika, once constructed, would be used for farmers to hold their meetings and discuss issues pertaining to farming, crop cultivation and others.

As many as 2,604 Rythu Vedikas are being constructed across the state with an estimated cost of Rs. 553.74 crores.

These vedikas would be constructed in 2,536 villages and 65 in suburban areas.

The inauguration ceremony was held at 12:10 P.M., following which Mr. Rao toured Jangaon.

During the tour Mr. Rao inspected ‘Palle Prakruti Vanam’ and the ongoing work at the dumping yard and cemetery at Ramavaram in Kodakandla.

Later, at 1:30 P.M., he returned to Kondakandla and interacted with 10,000 farmers.

Around 2:30 P.M., Chief Minister KCR had lunch at the house of DCCB Chairman Kunduru Venkateshwar Reddy.

K. Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to return to Hyderabad today evening.
