The launch was organised at Mudu Chintalapalli village of Shamirpet mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

Soon after the launch, the slot bookings for the registrations for land and property would begin and registrations would begin from the 2nd of November.

According to sources, the Dharini portal has been launched with details of properties of the citizens.

In addition, the property details which are not uploaded on the portal would be treated as illegal and would not be allowed for further registrations or mutation.

The decision to launch the website was taken with an aim of transparency in the land and property registration.

The Dharani portal would also reduce loopholes in the registration process in Telangana.

How to register?

One could register their property, succession and also the partition of agriculture lands and once the registration is done, the owner would be provided with an e-pattadar passbook.

The portal was scheduled to launch on the 26th of October, but due to technical issues, the launch was delayed.

The State Cabinet ministers, TRS leaders and other officials attended the launch event.
