K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, called for a Cabinet meeting on the 19th of April.
The meeting is organised to discuss the lockdown guidelines, exemptions given after the 20th of April and other measures to fight the Novel Coronavirus in Telangana.
As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) after the 20th of April, exemptions would be allowed in a few districts, if the lockdown is implemented successfully.
In the areas which would be doing better at preventing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus the lockdown may be relaxed for the residents of those areas.
This decision would be taken by the governments of the states and union territories after observing the activities in their respective states.
The meeting would be attended by the State Cabinet ministers and other senior officials of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
As of the 16th of April, Telangana has a total of 650 cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 18 deaths.
