The Telangana Medical department, on the night of the 4th of September, released a media bulletin regarding the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases.
According to the Telangana Health Department’s bulletin, 2,511 new cases with 11 new fatalities of the COVID-19 infection.
Of the total 2,511 cases, 23 were from Adilabad, 93 from Bhadradri, 395 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ( GHMC.)

Till the 5th of September, this is the 12th consecutive day with a spike with more than 2,000 cases.
On the morning of the 2nd of September Telangana reported 2,892 cases, 1,256, on the 3rd of September the single day spike was 2,817 and on the 4th of September the cases were 2,578.
On the 5th of September with 2,511new cases, the total reached 1,38,395 cases. With 11 new fatalities, the total stands at 877. In addition, with 2,579 numbers, total recovered cases reported till date are 1,04,603.
With these updates, Telangana has 1,38,395 positive cases, of which 32,915 are active cases, 1,04,603 are recovered/discharged cases and 877 deceased.
Out of the 32,915 patients, 25,729 patients are under home isolation and 7,186 are in institutional care.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Health authorities conducted 62,132 tests in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 16,67,653.
Of the total 62,132 tests, COVID-19 results of 3,145 samples are pending.
With the everyday spike in the Novel Coronavirus cases, the recovery rate in Telangana is now 75.50 %.
In addition, mortality rate is 0.80% and growth rate to 2.80 %.
