On the 4th of October, Telangana nears to 2 lakh cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
On the night of the 3rd of October, Telangana has recorded 1,949 new Covid-19 infections and 10 fatalities.
Out of the total new cases, 24 from Adilabad, 71 from Bhadradri, 291 from areas under GHMC, 45 from Jagtial, 31 from Jangaon, 24 from Bhupalpally, 22 from Gadwal, 56 from Kamareddy, 114 from Karimnagar, 85 from Khammam, 16 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 31 from Mahabubnagar, 36 from Mahabubabad, 30 from Mancherial, 29 from Medak, 150 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 28 each from Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, 124 from Nalgonda, six from Narayanpet, 25 from Nirmal, 66 from Nizamabad, 43 from Peddapalli, 55 from Siricilla, 156 from Rangareddy, 42 from Sangareddy, 76 each from Siddipet, 65 from Suryapet, 26 from Vikarabad, 25 from Wanaparthy, 32 from Warangal Rural, 63 from Warangal Urban and 34 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
A total of 2,366 persons have recovered on Saturday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,70,212 with a recovery rate of 85.41 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 84.10 %
With this, the total cases is 1,99,276, of which 27,901 are active cases, 1,70,212 are recovered/discharged cases.
Between the 2nd and 3rd of October, the State conducted 51, 623 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours.
In addition, reports of another 569 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 32,05,249 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 1, 99, 276 have tested positive and 1,70,212 persons have recovered.
