Amid the rising Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Telangana, the Telangana Government planned home vaccination for people.

According to sources, Mr. G. Srinivas, the Director of Health and Public in Telangana (DH) conducted a press conference on the 10th of June.  During the press meeting, Mr. G. Srinivas Rao said, despite the high number of the Wuhan virus in India, there is no need to worry for Telangana people.  He also added that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government is planning to provide vaccination at home, besides vaccination centers in the Telugu State.

Mr. G. Srinivasa Rao also said that there is a 56% increase in the number of cases registered in Telangana, which is 10% less than India’s COVID-19 cases, which is 66%. He said,  “It simply came to our notice then.  With the onset of the monsoon season in a few days, there is a risk of outbreaks of infections.  In this context… We are going to go door to door soon across Telangana.”

The decision would be a boon for many people, especially eligible kids, and senior citizens, who are yet to receive COVID-19 vaccination.

Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, Telangana registered over 300 cases.  Regarding the rising Wuhan virus cases, the Telangana Health Department urged people to be cautious and stay alert, following all the protocols of the Wuhan virus.
