On the 17th of January, Somesh Kumar, the Telangana State General Secretary, conducted a coordination meeting with officials of several government departments at Telangana Bhavan.
The meeting was organised to discuss the arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations.
On the 26th of January, the Republic Day celebrations would be held at Public Gardens, Telangana.
Somesh Kumar instructed the various departments’ officials to look after the arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations.
The police are required to make arrangements like traffic control and barricading.
Special General Secretary Adar Sinha, Director General of Police (DGP) Mahender Reddy, Information and Communications Relations Commissioner Arvind Kumar, Highways and Buildings Chief Secretary Sunil Sharma and Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar were present during the meeting.
