The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) led Telangana Government issued an order, approving 20,000 android tablets to teachers of the state run schools, across the Telugu State of Telangana.
On the 9th of January, Monday, the Telangana Education Department issued an official notification regarding the same. The decision was taken to ensure enhancement in the education system accorded with the technology. With this, all the state run school teachers would be able to track the academic performance of students besides imparting digital content and recording their attendance on Tablet PCs.
The School Education Department has decided to supply a staggering 20,000 tablet PCs under the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi/Mana Basti-Mana Badi programme, launched by the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government.
In addition, these 20,000 supplied gadgets would have SIM, Wi Fi and Volte, so teachers via the internet can access the digital content by scanning quick reaction codes printed in the textbooks of the State Board. Furthermore, the enhanced technology would also help the teachers of government schools to track the attendance and other details of all the students, making administrative and other education work easy.
