Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, inaugurated the 20th edition of BioAsia 2023.
On the 24th of February, Friday, the prominent healthcare and life sciences event organized by the Government of Telangana was inaugurated by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister.
The event started after Dr. Richard Hatchett, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CEPI, the United Kingdom (U.K.,) conducted lighting ceremony and spoke about the non linear domains of One Health.
During the inauguration, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “#Hyderabad is regarded as the epicenter for drug discovery and development services in Asia. The capital city of Hyderabad offers one of the best State-supported business ecosystems in the country with significant focus on life sciences.”
The event is expected to attract over 2,500 delegates from more than 50 countries, including government officials, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and researchers. IN 2023, the theme of the BioAsia is said to be ‘’Advancing for ONE: Shaping the next generation of humanized healthcare.’
During the 20th edition of the BioAsia various discussions and meetings involving over 800 corporates and more than 70 distinguished speakers would be held. The discussion would cover topics such as ‘One Health’ for integrating cross-sectoral ecosystems, ‘Next Generation Health’ for harnessing disruptive technologies, and ‘Equity’ for driving accessibility and affordability of quality healthcare for all.
