Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, received a warm welcome in Los Angeles, on the 21st of March, Monday.
It is to be noted, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister and Working President is on a 10 days tour to the United States of America, to attract investment in Telangana. In this tour, the KTR delegation would visit Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, Boston and New York. The TRS delegation would hold discussions with representatives of various industries.
At the first stop, Los Angeles, Mr. Rama Rao and other leaders were welcomed by the TRS Party leaders and Non Residential Indians (NRIs) of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, at the airport. On the occasion, the Minister interacted with the NRIs and spoke about the development of Telangana as well as various initiatives taken up by the State Government like ‘Mana Ooru-Mana Badi’ programme. Mr. K.T. Rama Rao further asked the NRIs to participate in the programme in large numbers and act as ambassadors of the Telangana Government to build the State’s brand image and attract investments abroad.
Notably, the Telangana IT and Industries Principal Secretary Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, the Electronics Director Mr. Sujai Karampuri, the Life Sciences Director Mr. Shakti Nagappan, the Food Processing Director Mr. Akhil Gawar, Promotions Director Mr. Vijay Rangineni, the Chief Relations Officer Mr. Amarnath Reddy were among the officials accompanying the Minister.
