The Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training (TSBTET) would conduct diploma supplementary exams from the 3rd of July.
After the Telangana Government cancelled the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, the Government decided to conduct supplementary exams for.
The dates for the supplementary exams were confirmed on the 30th of June on the TSBTET official website, sbtet.telangana.gov.in.
However, many students and their families showed disappointment over the exams. Fearing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, many parents demanded to postpone SBTET examinations.
The Telangana Education Department would conduct the SBTET exams following special guidelines.
The centres where examinations would be held were asked to maintain 6 feet social distance, sanitize the centres, and wearing of face masks is mandatory.
According to a Telangana Education department official , despite the pandemic crisis, the State Board is conducting the exams for the final year students who want to appear in different competitive exams.
Navin Mittal, the Chairman of the SBTET, said, “In some exams, maximum 10 students appear throughout the state, so maintenance of social distance would not be a problem.”
