Around 47 lakh voters in Telangana are yet to complete their hearings under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, officials said.
Officials will issue fresh notices to voters who miss their hearing. If a voter fails to respond even after multiple notices, their name may be removed from the final electoral roll. Such voters will then need to submit Form-6 to seek fresh inclusion.
Telangana has 3,38,26,448 voters, while 2,64,87,213 have submitted enumeration forms. About 73.39 lakh voters have been placed under the Absent, Shifted, Death and Duplicate (ASDD) category.
Notices have been issued to 92,87,576 voters over issues such as name or age mismatches and lack of mapping with the 2002 SIR list.
So far, about 38 lakh voters have responded to notices, and their names have been marked for inclusion after document checks.
Voters can file claims and objections until October 7. The process will end on November 5, while the final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on November 9.
