The Telangana Special Investigation Team (SIT) issued a lookout notice for Mr. Jagguji Swamy, a residence of Kerala, named in the poaching of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Members of the Legislative Assembly case.

On the 22nd of November, Tuesday, the SIT summoned Mr. Jagguji Swamy and Mr. , close aides of Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.  He was named and was summoned after the SIT interrogated Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the BJP in the Telangana unit and his close aide and advocate Mr. Srinivasa.

The Telangana SIT also issued summon notice to Mr. Jagguji Swamy, who failed to appear before the SIT, following which they issued a lookout notice.

The notice mentioned the Kerala based doctor, Mr. Jagguji Swamy, as ‘wanted’ in the TRS MLA Poaching Case.  It read, “Jaggu Swamy is ‘Wanted’, in the case (FIR No.455/2022) under sections 120 B, 171-B read with 171-E, 506 r/w 34 IPC and Section 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, which are incidentally the same sections under which the three other accused in the case have been booked.”

The circulation and notice have been sent to various police stations in Kerala.

Meanwhile, Mr. B.L. Santosh, a senior leader of the BJP Telangana Unit has also been named in the TRS MLA Poaching case.

It is to be noted, the TRS MLA Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy started a sting operation, and exposed the BJP leaders’s aides trying to poach TRS MLAs by offering them Rs. 100 crores.  Based on Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy’s complaint, the Telangana Police arrested three people.  

On the 10th of November, Thursday, the police took the three accused, Mr. Ramachandra Bharati from Delhi, Mr. Simhayajulu from Tirupati and Mr. Nanda Kumar, a businessman from Hyderabad into custody, for further investigation.  The interrogation was conducted at the Rajendranagar Police Station, on the 11th of November.    

Moreover, KCR released a video in which a voice was heard offering Rs. 100 crores to the TRS MLAs and blamed the BJP for poaching their MLAs.

The investigation into the matter is still underway.
