Mr. Koppula Eshwar, Ms. Gangula Kamalakar and Ms. Satyavathi Rathore held a meeting on the 6th of February, Monday, after the Budget Session. During the special meeting held at the Assembly Committee Hall, the welfare ministers discussed providing better nutrition to the students in line with the rising inflation.
According to sources, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) ministers discussed increasing mess charges in Welfare Gurukul and hostels. The Ministers discussed the proposals to be sent to the BRS Government in accordance with the directives of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. Furthermore, the ministers also discussed providing better nutritional food to the students of government schools and hostels.
Later, the three ministers met and briefed Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana, about the welfare departments work, development of the Backward Classes (BCs,) the Scheduled Caste (SCs) and the Scheduled Tribe (STs.)
The meeting was also attended by the other officials of the Welfare Department.
