Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, extended condolences over the demise of Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the 30th of December, Mr. K.Chandrashekar Rao, the President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) expressed grief and gave his deepest condolences to PM Narendra Modi.
Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana also tweeted, “Heartfelt condolences to Hon’ble PM Sri @narendramodi Ji on the demise of his beloved mother, Smt. Heeraben Modi Ji. May her soul rest in peace .”

In addition, the Chief Minister of the neighbouring Telugu State, Andhra Pradesh also extended condolences wishes. Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh took to Twitter and said, “My deepest condolences to PM @narendramodi garu.

Notably, PM Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi passed away in the wee hours of the 30th of December. She was admitted to UN Mehta Heart Hospital, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and took her last breath at 3:30 A.M.
Furthermore, Heeraben Modi’s last rites were held in Gandhinagar and the funeral was attended by many union ministers and political leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat. PM Narendra Modi performed the last rites of his mother Heeraben Modi, who passed away at the age of 100 years.
