Rajender Reddy, the President of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) in Mahabubnagar district, on the 3rd of September, joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)
Rajender Reddy joined the ruling party of Telangana, the TRS, in the presence of Srinivas Goud, the Excise and Tourism Minister of Telangana, during an event organised in Mahabubnagar, Telangana.
When asked about the reason behind switching to the TRS, Mr. Reddy said the TJS is invisible and unwanted in the State. The people of Telangana support the TRS, due to which he decided to join the TRS.
Rajender Reddy further said he was also impressed with the welfare activities and schemes of the TRS, which were introduced for the betterment of the citizens of Telangana. He praised the TRS and said now the public also knows which party has the guts to make Telangana a golden state.
Srinivas Goud also addressed the media and said, “We are expecting the opposing parties to be more responsible and come out with constructive suggestions to help the Government in taking up the development projects in a big way. But all these years, what we have seen is these parties are becoming stumbling blocks in the way of development.”
Goud agreed with Reddy and said the majority of people in the State support TRS and because of the public support, the Party was elected with a high number of votes.
Mr. Goud said the Party will work hard to ensure the welfare of the people of Mahabubnagar and the State. He said under the leadership of the TRS, all the pending works and ongoing projects like irrigation projects will be completed soon. The TRS Government is working on the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation (PRRLI) project in Mahabubnagar to resolve the water issues in the District.
Goud said, “As stressed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao recently, we will definitely complete the PRRLI project in time and fulfil our promise soon.”
Mr. Goud felicitated Rajender Reddy and the other TJS leaders who joined the Party with the kanduvas of the TRS.
