TRS Govt Releases Amount For Rythu Bandhu Scheme

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) the ruling Government of Telangana, on the 6th of March, allocated funds for Rythu Bandhu Scheme in the State.

Under the Rythu Bandhu scheme, the State Government would extend financial help to the farmers of the State which includes loan waiver, debt ridden policies and crops purchase.

The TRS Government would give Rs. 10,000 per acre yearly during the Rabi and Kharif crop seasons.  For the harvesting of the crops, the TRS released an amount of Rs. 333.29 crores for farmers’ scheme on the 6th of March.  

The Department of Agriculture has granted administrative clearances to release the funds and issued a notification for the same. 

Previously, the State Government also released Rs.1350.61 crores for the scheme.

As of now, the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Government released a sum of  Rs. 1683.90 crores for the farmer’s in the financial year 2019-2020.
