TS Government Initiates Construction of Camp Offices

On Tuesday, the Telangana Government declared that they have taken the initiative of constructing camp offices for MLAs in 104 assembly constituencies out of 119. These offices will also act as residences to the MLAs.

The construction planned for these offices will be costing almost Rs. 119 crores. This plan was unveiled by Tummala Nageshwara Rao, the Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister at the state Assembly in the Question Hour. The remaining 15 constituencies are in Hyderabad and it has been proposed that the legislators will be allotted new MLA quarters that are being constructed in the city.

The minister had invited tenders for construction and 98 out of the 104 constituencies have been finalized. The agreements of 88 constituencies have been finalized in which 62 segments have already begun work. According to the minister, the work in Parakala constituency has already been completed and is ready for office use.
