K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, was praised for taking up the task of reconstructing the Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri district, Telangana.
C.S. Rangaraj, the Chief Pujari of Chilkur Balaji temple, on the 23rd of December, said the construction works are going on according to the Agama Shastra.
Pujari Rangarajan was on a visit to the new complex of the Yadadri temple and reviewed the progress of the construction. He said K. Chandrashekar Rao would remain in the Country’s history as he took up reconstructing the Yadadri temple with the exchequer’s money.
Rangarajan examined the developments at the temple and asked for everyone’s involvement in the development works.
According to the Pujari, on the 23rd of December, the temple authorities counted the offerings collected in the last 20 days. The offerings amounted to Rs. 68,56,045.
Besides, the revenue also includes 78 grams of gold and two kilograms of silver.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) took up the renovation of the Yadadri temple, which is spread over 1,900 acres.
The TRS Government started the renovation work with a budget of Rs. 1,800 crores in late 2016 and it is still underway.
The KCR led Government is in no rush to finish the renovation work as it wants it to be of high quality.
