Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Kadapa constituency in Andhra Pradesh, sought time to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI.)
In the latest development of the Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case, the Hyderabad CBI issued a summon to Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy, asking him to appear before the CBI for investigation. This is the fourth time the CBI has issued notice to the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leader in the controversial murder case. However, the Kadapa MP failed to appear, following which the CBI officials appeared at the residence of Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy.
During the talks with the CBI, Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy asked for a time of four days and said he would appear before the CBI officials after four days, as he has certain work commitments. Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy even wrote a letter to the Hyderabad CBI, seeking a permission.
Meanwhile, after the Supreme Court orders, the Hyderabad CBI is investigating the four year old controversial murder of Mr. Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, a politician and the uncle of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The matter is still under investigation, and Mr. Y.S. Avinash Reddy is one of the suspects, therefore has been asked to appear before the CBI for interrogation and further investigation.
