On the 13th of November, Saturday, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila, the President of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) launched 72 hours protest. The scheduled 72 hours protest is in support of the farmers of Telangana.
In a statement released recently, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila she said that she would hold a protest in Hyderabad for paddy farmers. The YSRTP Chief addressed the media and said. “If the paddy is not purchased, the farmers have no hope to continue living.”
Since the launch of the YSRTP in June 2021, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila is targeting the K. Chandrashekar Rao Government for their misrule. She claimed to bring back the golden era of Telangana, which has been in danger under the leadership of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
In the past few months, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila started a weekly protest against unemployment in Telangana and launched the padayatra. As of now the padayatra has been halted in the wake of the upcoming Members of the Legislative Council (MLC) elections.
Meanwhile, the released protest of Ms. Sharmila is going to continue till the 15th of November, Monday.
