Ms. Y.S. Sharmila, the President of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) met with Mr. M. Kodandaram, a leader of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS.)
On the 4th of April, Tuesday, during the meeting, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila urged Mr. M. Kodandaram to lead the proposed Telangana Students Action for Vacancies & Employment (T-SAVE) to fight for the rights of the youth and the unemployed in Telangana.
After the meeting with Ms. Y.S. Sharmila, Mr. M. Kodandaram responded positively and
said a final decision would be taken after discussing the proposal in the party. He said that there is a need for a united struggle on the problems faced by unemployed but the party’s State committee would take decision regarding the alliance.
Besides Mr. M. Kodandaram, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila also called on the State Secretaries of Communist Party of India (CPI) and Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) seeking unity for the future of the youth of the State. Notably, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila is making efforts and reaching out to opposition leaders, seeking unity to fight against the ruling Telangana Government.
In a recent interview, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila lashed out at the K. Chandrashekar Rao led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for ruining the future of youths in Telangana. The criticism came after the recent controversial Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper leak, which led to the cancellation of recruitment exams.
