J.Narender’s house was raided by the Anti Corruption Bureau. More than Rs. 3 crores worth of unaccounted assets, along with a room full of silver was found by the ACB sleuths from a Khairatabad RTO administrative officer’s home. Narender has houses in different parts of the city.
An official stated “He owns three open plots and three houses. We recovered 600 grams (of) gold (and) Rs. 22 lakh in bank accounts,”
In January, ACB officials had caught Narendra red handed in his office while he was accepting a bribe from a victim. Narender was earlier arrested by the ACB for accepting a bribe of Rs. 8,000 from a vehicle owner for doing an official favour. The market value of all the assets and possessions found at Narender’s home would figure up to a whooping Rs. 3 crore.
Narender was out of jail on a bail. The ACB booked him in a new case for disproportionate assets. He is currently suspended and will be arrested again.
