Olexander Turin (20) has changed his birth name to ‘iPhone Sim Seven’. Olexander
decided to change his name so that he can get an iPhone for free.
Seven’s sister’s had an awkward reaction to the change in name, she stated “It was difficult to
accept that and hard to believe it’s true.” She added, “Each person in this world is looking for a way
to express himself. Why not to do that in this way?” The 20-year old was awarded his gift on Friday.
He said he would consider changing his name back when he has children.
The iPhone store in Kiev offered the first five people who changed their names to iPhone 7 a free
phone. The iPhone has become a luxury item and the prices for the same changes from country to
country. But in all cases it is very expensive, this is where people make jokes about selling their
kidneys for buying an iPhone.
One man said he would also change his name on Twitter.
