Anjali Rathour, a 23 year old software engineer was shot dead on the ground floor of her house at Shatabdi Rail Vihar society in Noida, Sector 62. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
Anjali had graduated from Lovely Professional University and was working at Lava company as a Graduate Engineer in Sector 63 Noida. The police are suspecting the boyfriend to be behind her murder.
The woman was shot dead in the parking lot of her society. After which she was rushed to Fortis Hospital, the doctors reported she was brought dead. Anjali was a native of Yamuna Nagar in Harayana. She got the job in Noida and started working for Lava in June 2016.
The police in charge of the case reported that Anjali lived with six other girls on the third floor of an apartment. The police suspect that her boyfriend called her and she went down where she was shot dead.
The CCTV camera in the parking area captured the murder. Her body was discovered by one of her flatmates who was leaving for tuition. The room mate immediately informed the other flat mates and rushed Anjali to the hospital. Forensic experts and a police team hurried to the hospital for further investigation.
SP City Noida, Arun Kumar Singh reported on the case, “We have talked to the deceased’s flat mates and relatives. Primary investigation suggests that the deceased’s boyfriend could be behind it. We are investigating the matter and the accused will be arrested soon.”
