In the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, 59 people have died with over 500 people injured in Las Vegas.

At the Route 91 Harvest country music festival there were 22,000 people enjoying a concert when suddenly it started raining bullets.

Dozens of videos have surfaced of people screaming and running for shelter. The suspect has been identified as Stephen Paddock a 64 year old gambler from Mesquite Nevada. He was found dead on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay hotel.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo reported that Paddock seemed to have killed himself.
The police investigating further and are yet to find the agenda of the shooting but failed to find any connection between Paddock and international terrorism.

The FBI reported, “We have determined to this point no connection with an international terrorist group. We will continue to work with our partners to ensure that this is factually, thoroughly and absolutely investigated to be able to bring comfort and peace back to this community.”

The police also reported that the shooter used a fully automatic rifle and the enforcement authorities found another 18 firearms in the hotel room. The police searched the suspects home in Nevada and found another 18 firearms on Monday.

Stephen Paddock’s family and girlfriend were questioned but none seem involved in the shooting and are shocked that Paddock was behind it.

The mass shooting on Sunday has caused a lot of grief and fear into the hearts of the Americans. This shooting was even worse than the one from 2016 at Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando where 49 people were killed.
