Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 11th of June, took to Twitter and wished Akbaruddin Owaisi a speedy recovery.

Akbaruddin Owaisi, a member of the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Chandrayangutta, is suffering from injuries he received when he was attacked in 2011 and is undergoing treatment for the same.
In 2011, Akbaruddin Owaisi was stabbed with a knife and shot 3 times in Barkas, Hyderabad, leaving him severely injured.
Since 2011, Mr. Akbaruddin is undergoing treatment for the injuries as they have not healed yet.
On the 9th of June, Mr. Akbaruddin’s condition deteriorated, following which, he was shifted to London for treatment, on an emergency basis.
This is not the first time Akbaruddin is travelling to the United Kingdom (U.K.,) for treatment after the attack.
A source close to Akbaruddin said, “Mr. Owaisi (Akbaruddin Owaisi) keeps travelling for treatment. He was in Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage. He left for treatment from there. The health issue is related to his intestines. Also, this is not the first time that our president has appealed for prayers for Akbar Sahab.”
Asaduddin Owaisi, the elder brother of Akbaruddin and the President of the AIMIM, released the news of his treatment in London, on the 10th of June and asked the public to pray for his speedy recovery.
Revanth Reddy, a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) also wished for the good health and quick recovery of Akbaruddin Owaisi.
