Pawan  Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 12th of May, wished nurses on the International Nurses’ Day. 

Mr. Kalyan retweeted a United Nations Twitter post wishing nurses across the world on the International Nurses’ Day.

Pawan Kalyan appreciated the efforts of nurses during the pandemic crises of the Novel Coronavirus infection in Andhra Pradesh and India.  Mr. Kalyan said, “Nurses in hospitals and isolation wards are performing their duties in this time of disaster in the wake of the pandemic Coronavirus.  The legacy of Florence Nightingale’s continuation of nurses during Coronavirus is admirable.  The Nursing Department is essential in achieving better health outcomes globally in the current situation, and medical experts say more and more effective nurses are coming. Governments should focus on providing job security and decent wages for those in the profession. (sic.)”
