On the 12th of May, Andhra Pradesh, reported a dip in the number of Novel Coronavirus cases,
With the decreasing number of every day COVID-19 cases, it could be said the efforts and precautionary measures are helping to contain the spread of the virus in the State.
Andhra Pradesh nodal officer, handling COVID-19 situation reported 33 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
On the 11th of May, Andhra Pradesh conducted COVID-19 test of 10,730 samples, out of which only 33 were tested positive.
Of the 33 cases 10 were from Chittoor district, 9 from Nellore district, 9 from Kurnool, 4 from Krishna and 1 case in East Godavari.
The death toll in the state increased to 46, with one death reported from the Krishna district.
Even as the cumulative tally in the State touched 2,051 cases and the number of people cured and discharged from hospital has risen to 1,056.
On the 12th of May, 58 persons were discharged, taking the tally of active cases in the state to 949.
