Highlights Of Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Meeting

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) conducted a Cabinet meeting on the 11th of June and took various key decisions related to the issues in A.P.

The meeting which started on the morning of the 11th of June, discussed several bills, laws, issues and COVID-19 situation in the State.

The meeting headed by Y.S. Jagann Mohan Reddy eneded around 4:00 P.M., with a major decisions for the welfare of the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.

Here are a few decisions taken during the AP Cabinet meeting:

  1. The cabinet decided to hold Assembly meetings from 16th of June, which would also discuss the budget session for the year 2020-2021.
  2. Cabinet approved for the CBI probe into corruption under the rule of the Nara Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)
  3. Recommends CBI probe into corruption into fiber grid.
  4. Approved for constituting Cabinet Sub-committee to investigate into the corruption over Chandranna Kanuka scheme.
  5. A Sub-committee to probe on Heritage Ghee Purchases.
  6. A Sub-committee to investigate on Tera Software company led by Vemuri Ravi Prasad over Fiber Grid.
  7. Recruitment of 426 teaching and non teaching staff in nursing colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh reported a total of 5,429 cases of the Novel Coronavirus till the 11th of June.  Out of the total, 2,381 are active cases, 2,968 are recovered/discharged and 80 deceased.
