On the 31st of August, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, held a teleconference.

The main agenda of the scheduled conference was to discuss the formation of TRS committees in Telangana. During the meeting, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao briefed about the TRS Bhavan Foundation ceremony and celebration in Telangana.

It is to be noted, the TRS President and Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to visit Delhi and lay the foundation stone for the TRS Bhavan in the Vasant Vihar area of the National Capital.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would lay the foundation stone with a small group of party members and leaders of the TRS. Meanwhile, in Telangana, the party cadres and leaders would organise a grand celebration in districts of Telangana.

Besides discussing the event, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao also asked the party leaders to form gram panchayat committees and ward committees in between the 2nd and the 12th of September.

After village and ward committees, the TRS would form mandal and town committees in between the 12th and the 20th of September. Later, district committees and state committees would be finalised, working for the growth and development of Telangana. These committees would also work to brief the action plan of the Telangana Government for the people of Telangana.

These committees would have 51 % representation from the Scheduled Castes (SCs,) the Scheduled Tribes (STs,) the Backward Classes (BCs) and minorities. It is to be noted, these committees would be formed with selected members by the end of September.

Mr. K.T. Rama Rao is supervising the development and progress in the formation of the committees.

By the end of September, the TRS would form all the committees, which would likely be functional in October.
