Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, cancelled his upcoming Yadadri Temple visit, citing health issues.
According to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO,) “CM Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao went to Yashoda Hospital for a health check-up. Doctors are conducting a heart-related angiogram test.” The statement was posted on the official Twitter handle of the Telangana CMO.
As per the media sources, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao complained of high fever and cold, on the night of the 10th of March, following which he was taken to Yashoda Hospital, in Hyderabad, Telangana. After his regular health check up, the doctors at the Yashoda Hospital suggested some heart related tests. KCR’s wife Ms. Shobha Rao and his daughter Ms. K. Kavita also accompanied him to the hospital. A team of doctors led by Dr. Rao would supervise Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao.
In view of the illness, the Telangana CM also canceled his visit to Yadadri temple on the 11th of March. However, now Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Education Minister of Telangana would visit the renovated Yadadri Temple, scheduled to be inaugurated on the 11th of March, on behalf of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.
