Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) conducted a review of the Women and Child Welfare Department.
The meeting was held on the 15th of December, Thursday, at the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) camp office, in Tadepalli. During the meeting, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy discussed the welfare and development of women and children in the State. The concerned officials of the Women and Child Welfare Department explained the progress of implementation of the schemes and welfare activities, decided previously.
Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also approved to fill of vacancies of the Child Development Project Officer posts in Anganwadis. A total of 61 CDPO posts have been approved to be fulfilled soon. In addition, the Chief Minister also asked the concerned officials to focus on infrastructure in Anganwadis and directed to speed up the work being done on a daily basis.
During the meeting, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also ordered to provide quality nutrition to children in Anganwadis and provide a good environment for children to develop.
The meeting held on Thursday was attended by Ms. K.V. Ushasri Charan, the Women Child Welfare Minister, Mr. C.S.K. Jawahar Reddy, the Women Child Welfare Principal Secretary, Mr.c Muddada Ravichandra, the School Education Commissioner (Infrastructure), Mr. Katamaneni Bhaskar, the Women Child Welfare Director and other officials.
