Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, took part in the Sri Lakshmi Maha Yagnam with Ashtottara Satha Kundatmina Chandi, Rudra, Rajashyamala and Sudarshana. The special pooja started from Friday, the 12th of May, under the auspices of the Endowment department in Andhra Pradesh.
The Yagnam is being held at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada Bandaru Road. The special pooja started at 5:00 A.M., with Bhagwat Preetiga Vedasvasti, Gopuja, Vighneswara-Vishvaksena Puja, Punyahavachanam, Dikshadharana, Ajasra Deeparadhana and other programs.
In addition, the Maha Yajna started after CM Jagan took the Sankalp for the Yajna. The Maha Yagnam started on the 12th of May and would continue till the 17th of May. It will continue from 9:00 A.M., to 12:00 P.M., and from 6:00 P.M., to 9:00 P.M., every day except the morning of the first day, the 12th of May.
