Amaravathi: Nara Lokesh, Minister for IT and Electronics, extended an open invitation to investors on Wednesday, following Karnataka’s new legislation imposing stricter norms for setting up industries.
In his Twitter message, Lokesh addressed investor concerns, stating, “We understand your disappointment. We welcome you to expand or relocate your business to our IT, IT services, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and data center in Visakhapatnam.” This prompt response came as Nasscom and several business leaders voiced objections to Karnataka’s new Act.
Lokesh assured investors that Andhra Pradesh offers best-in-class facilities, including uninterrupted power supply, top-notch infrastructure, and highly skilled talent without any government restrictions. Retweeting Nasscom’s message, he emphasized that Andhra Pradesh is prepared to welcome investors and invited them to connect with him.
Highlighting the state’s talented youth and resources, Lokesh encouraged investors to consider expanding or relocating their ventures to Andhra Pradesh.
