
Bapatla: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the critical role of parents and teachers in shaping children’s futures. Speaking at a landmark meeting of parents and teachers at Bapatla Municipal School, Mr. Naidu called on students to continuously update themselves with technology to achieve success.
“This is the first time in the country that such a large-scale parents-teachers meeting is being held simultaneously across 45,000 schools, involving 1.2 crore students and their parents,” he said. He expressed confidence that this initiative would usher in transformative reforms in the academic sector.
The Chief Minister announced that these meetings would be conducted annually on December 7 and urged students never to forget the contributions of their teachers. Highlighting his government’s vision for a progressive Andhra Pradesh, he stated, “As I developed Hyderabad with Vision-2020, we are now advancing towards Swarnandhra-2047.”
Mr. Naidu revealed plans to introduce online health cards, progress reports, and attendance tracking for students. He also stressed the importance of an anti-drug campaign starting from schools, aiming to curb issues like ganja misuse.
Promising digital libraries and labs in all schools by the next academic year, the Chief Minister interacted with students and joined them for lunch, demonstrating his commitment to education.
