
Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to ensure world-class facilities in the newly planned Osmania Government Hospital to meet medical needs for the next century. The CM will lay the foundation stone for the hospital’s construction at Goshamahal on January 31. During a review meeting held at his residence on Saturday with Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, the CM stressed the importance of high-quality infrastructure and emergency preparedness.
Revanth Reddy emphasized the need for seamless accessibility to the hospital, including roads on all sides, two levels of underground parking, and facilities like a dormitory, canteen, fire station, and STPs. Modern amenities, such as mortuary and body freezing units, were also prioritized. The CM reviewed hospital designs and suggested modifications to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. The meeting was attended by key officials, including CM’s advisor Vem Narendra Reddy, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetty, and others.
In a separate event, the CM will visit Dr. BR Ambedkar Universal University on Sunday. He will unveil a statue of Ambedkar and lay foundation stones for projects like a Digital Resource Centre, Skill Development Centre, and modern bus shelters. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and senior ministers will accompany him.
