TS Inter Exams 2026: Hall Tickets to Be Sent to Parents via WhatsApp
A move aimed at reducing stress and last-minute confusion for students
In a student-friendly move, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) announced that it will share hall tickets for the Intermediate First Year and Second Year examinations 2026 directly with parents through WhatsApp. The initiative aims to ensure timely access to hall tickets and reduce last-minute difficulties for students and colleges.

According to officials, schools and junior colleges will collect and verify the registered mobile numbers of parents well in advance. After releasing the hall tickets, the board will send digital copies straight to parents’ registered WhatsApp numbers, improving transparency and ensuring wider and quicker access. Students will still be able to download their hall tickets through official portals, but the WhatsApp delivery adds an extra layer of convenience.
Education authorities took this decision after noticing repeated problems in earlier exam cycles, including server overloads, incorrect student details, and delays in downloading hall tickets. By involving parents directly, the board hopes to improve communication and reduce dependency on cyber cafés or college offices.
The board has instructed college principals to carefully cross-check student data to prevent errors in names, subjects, or examination centres. In case of discrepancies, students can approach their respective colleges for corrections before the exams begin.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education will conduct the Intermediate examinations as scheduled in early 2026, with lakhs of students set to appear across the state. For TS Inter Exams 2026, officials said the new WhatsApp-based hall ticket delivery system aims to streamline last-minute processes, improve communication with parents, and ensure a smoother examination experience for students and colleges.
