Amaravati: The long-standing dream of goldsmiths in Andhra Pradesh has finally come true with the formation of the Swarnakara Corporation. Minister Nara Lokesh, who had promised support to the goldsmiths of Mangalagiri constituency, played a key role in the establishment of this corporation.
During a ministerial meeting, a decision was made to create the Swarnakara Corporation, marking a significant milestone for the goldsmith community. Representatives from the Lakshmi Narasimha Goldsmiths Welfare Society expressed their gratitude to Minister Lokesh for his efforts and honored him with shawls.
Minister Lokesh shared his happiness, noting that the goldsmiths’ 60-year-old dream has been fulfilled. With this initiative, Andhra Pradesh will house the third goldsmith corporation in the country, a step that is expected to transform Mangalagiri into a gold hub. The minister also provided goldsmiths with essential equipment and called for discussions to develop operational procedures for the corporation.
A large gathering of goldsmiths and society representatives attended the event, celebrating the new opportunities this development promises for the gold industry in the region.
