A. Mahesh Kumar Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of AMR Group, Andhra Pradesh, will be conferred with the prestigious Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth during its 44th Convocation Ceremony scheduled to be held on March 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the TMV Campus, Mukundnagar, Pune.
The convocation ceremony will be chaired by S. Srikumar and will be graced by Pramod Sawant as the chief guest. Renowned hospitality expert Hemant Oberoi will also be among the distinguished personalities receiving the D.Litt. honour during the ceremony.
A. Mahesh Kumar Reddy is a prominent industrialist who has led the growth of AMR Group into a leading organization engaged in mining, infrastructure, and irrigation projects across India. Under his leadership, the group has successfully executed several large-scale projects and contributed significantly to industrial development and employment generation.
The honorary Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) is being conferred upon him in recognition of his outstanding contributions to industry, entrepreneurship, and nation-building. The ceremony will take place in the presence of the university leadership including Rohit Tilak, Pranati Tilak, Geetali Tilak, along with trustees Sarita Sathe and Nikhil Marathe.
