Anant Ambani Announces ₹1 Lakh Crore Investment In Andhra Pradesh

Reliance Industries Executive Director Anant Ambani has announced plans to invest ₹1 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh to set up compressed biogas (CBG) plants.

Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Rayalaseema Horticulture Hub and Indian School of Agriculture in Madanapalle on Friday, Ambani said the investment could create more than 3 lakh jobs in the state.

He also said the planned projects could generate nearly ₹60,000 crore in revenue for Andhra Pradesh.

Ambani said Reliance would work with the Andhra Pradesh government and farmers to support the new institution. The company also plans to back efforts linked to agriculture and CBG production.

The announcement came during the launch event for the horticulture hub and agriculture school in Madanapalle.

The proposed investment, jobs and state revenue are expected to make the project a major focus of the new initiative. Ambani said Reliance would work with stakeholders to support its development.
