On Anantapur Guntur National Highway, in Daddawada village of Komarolu Mandal, a major fire explosion happened.
On the intersecting night of the 1st and the 2nd of September, a lorry carrying gas cylinders caught fire. Notably, of the 300 gas cylinders, close to 100 gas cylinders exploded, causing a fire.
According to the locals and the police, a fire broke out in the cabin of a lorry carrying Bharat gas cylinders from Kurnool to Ulavapadu, in the Nellore district. As soon as the driver noticed it, the driver stopped the lorry, got down and escaped, leaving no casualty or injury.
Due to the tragic incident, the traffic was halted for half a km on both sides of the national highway. In addition, the police were on alert and took strict measures to prevent anyone from going there.
Moreover, the reason behind the tragic fire incident is yet to be known and an investigation has also been launched in this regard.
