On the 8th of June, Andhra Pradesh reported 154 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 4,813 cases till date.
In the past few days, despite precautionary measures and other guidelines, Andhra Pradesh is reporting every day cases more than 50 and 100.
According to the media bulletin issued by the State Health department, the department conducted a total of 14,246 samples in the last 24 hours, out of which 154 tested positive.
Out of the total, 125 were residents of Andhra Pradesh and 28 cases were reported among those who returned from other states.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, 34 people were discharged from COVID-19. The total cases discharged were stood at 2,711.
Meanwhile, shopping malls, religious places were re opened after two months of the lockdown due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
