The Novel Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh decreased in the past few days.
On the 8th of December, the State Health Department recorded only 551 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
According to the released media bulletin by the State Medical and Health Department, nearly 43,006 people were tested for the virus. Of the total sample tested, 551 people tested positive, 774 recovered and 4 died.
With this, 8,72,839 people are positive, of which 5,429 are active cases, 8,60,368 are recovered/discharged cases and 7,042 are deceased.
Of the four deceased cases, one each were from Guntur, Krishna, Nellore and West Godavari respectively.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government tested 1,05,09,805 samples so far across the state including 56,187 tests in the past 24 hours.
