Andhra Pradesh, on the 1st of October, reported 6,751 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
In the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted a total of 71,517 COVID-19 tests. Of the total, 6,751 cases, highest were reported from East Godavari and Chittoor.
The top four district with highest number of the active Novel Coronavirus cases are from East Godavari (9, 380,) West Godavari (7, 095,) Chottoor (5, 957) and Prakasam (7, 384.)
With these updates, Andhra Pradesh has 7,00,235 positive cases, of which 57,858 active cases and recovered/discharged cases are 6,36,508.
The number of deceased from the Novel Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh is 5,869.
In addition, the recovery rate of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is above 80%.
